Job summary

Greenbridge in Mentor, Ohio seeks a Bonded/Woven Cord Machine Operator to support production and packaging of Bonded and Woven Strapping. You will follow customer requirements and Safety and Company Policies and Procedures.

The role requires monitoring and adjusting bonding and weaving processes, starting up and shutting down lines, ensuring product meets specifications, completing paperwork, and maintaining equipment while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates strong work ethic and excellent attendance.
• Good problem-solving abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Basic understanding of adhesives and yarns.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Replenish creel stands and adhesives.
• Monitor/adjust Bonding and Weaving processes.
• Tie ends.
• Adjust line tensions.
• Start up and shut down lines as needed.
• Ensure product meets order specifications.
• Complete production paperwork.
• Exceed all Safety standards.
• Meet all Quality requirements.
• Cleans and maintains equipment when applicable.
• Uses product specifications to set up equipment to manufacture product.
• Transfer coils in process from the machine.
• Package coils.
