The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic math, and mechanical aptitude. Schedules include 4 on 4 off nights or 2-2-3 days with a night premium; starting pay $18 per hour with $1.50 night shift premium.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
• Read, write and possess basic math skills.
• Good Mechanical aptitude.
• Prior manufacturing experience a plus.
• Meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment using product specifications to manufacture product.
• Change screen packs in extruders as needed.
• Monitor temperatures in extruders and ovens and adjust as necessary.
• Observe and maintain conditions of equipment, communicate problems and write work orders.
• Ensure proper raw materials and additives are used according to product specifications.
• Ensure that all safety guards are in place and working properly.
• Troubleshoot production problems and take corrective action.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance as needed.
• Provide guidance and aid to machine operators as necessary.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
