Location: HYBRID – Bellevue, WA

Pay Rate: Up to $42-47/hr W2 based on experience

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 40 hours/week

Job Description:

We’re seeking a Senior Copywriter to bring storytelling magic and strategic thinking to one of the most exciting gaming brands in the industry. You’ll support the brand by crafting creative, high-impact content across multiple formats – from punchy one-liners to blog sagas, and everything in between.

Responsibilities:

Write compelling, conversion-driven copy for marketing efforts across social, blog, email, web, and more.
Develop headlines, slogans, and taglines that resonate with a gaming audience.
Establish and maintain tone of voice and messaging consistency across all channels.
Collaborate with designers, marketers, and product managers to bring campaign concepts to life.
Support video scripts, content localization, and brand storytelling initiatives.
Help shape guidelines and style guides that scale globally.

Requirements:

Mandatory:

5+ years of copywriting experience (including 2+ in gaming or tech)
Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or equivalent work experience
A strong portfolio showcasing a mix of formats and tone versatility
Proven ability to write for gamers – short-form, long-form, and everything in between
Deep knowledge of gaming culture, history, and trends
Excellent attention to detail, editing, and proofreading skills

Preferred:

Experience with data-informed content strategies
Familiarity with CMS tools
Experience writing for multiple genres/IP (e.g., horror, family, sports)
Scriptwriting skills for video content
Localization experience for global audiences
Ability to collaborate using tools like Figma
