Job summary

Teleion is seeking a Digital Copywriter to join our Seattle team. The role focuses on copy across web, app, and digital marketing surfaces, with emphasis on SEO/SEM and on-brand storytelling for a broad audience.

You will craft copy with attention to layout, placement, and accessibility, working in an agile sprint-based environment. You will collaborate with design, marketing, and product stakeholders, optimize copy for CTR and conversions, and ensure compliance reviews fit within brand voice.

Qualifications

• Digital copywriting portfolio with SEO/SEM demonstrated.
• Experience writing for digital surfaces with placement, layout considerations.
• Comfort in agile/sprint delivery with iterative feedback.

• Hands-on SEO copywriting: meta titles/descriptions, internal linking.
• SEM/paid ads copy and A/B testing experience.

• Familiarity with CMS (Optimizely or similar).

Teleion is looking for a Digital Copywriter to join our team! Successful candidates will have strong digital copywriting experience and can work cross-functionally with our design, marketing, and product stakeholders to deliver polished, on-brand content.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role supports an overhaul of copywriting across digital experiences, focused on web, app, and digital marketing surfaces (not print). The goal is copy that feels vibrant, speaks to a broad audience of all ages, and matches brand storytelling and expectations, built specifically for digital surfaces. This is a strong fit for a copywriter who thinks about SEO/SEM performance and layout/placement as part of the writing process itself, not as an afterthought, and who is comfortable working sprint-over-sprint in an agile delivery model.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Write and revise copy across digital experiences (web, app, digital marketing surfaces) - not print collateral.
• Apply SEO/SEM best practices to copywriting, not just brand voice and tone.
• Account for how placement, layout, and sizing affect how copy performs online, adapting writing accordingly.
• Deliver tone that works for a broad, all-ages audience while staying true to brand storytelling.
• Work within an agile delivery model - take on assigned work, deliver, and remediate based on feedback, sprint over sprint.

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong digital copywriting portfolio with demonstrated SEO/SEM copywriting skill.
• Experience writing for how content performs across placement, layout, and sizing on digital surfaces.
• Comfortable in an agile/sprint-based delivery environment with iterative feedback and remediation cycles.
• Versatile tone - able to write for a wide age range while staying on-brand.
• Hands-on SEO copywriting skill: keyword-informed page and header structure, meta titles/descriptions, and internal-linking-aware writing.
• SEM/paid ad copy experience - writing and iterating on headlines, descriptions, and CTAs for search/paid social, ideally with exposure to A/B testing variants.
• UX writing / microcopy sensibility - comfortable writing buttons, form fields, error states, and short-form in-product copy.
• Able to read and act on basic performance data (CTR, conversion, engagement) to inform revisions.
• Plain-language and accessibility awareness (WCAG-conscious writing).
• Comfortable writing within a regulated environment - able to work with legal/compliance review cycles and adjust copy to required disclosures without losing brand voice.
• Working familiarity with a CMS (ideally Optimizely or a comparable platform) and standard SEO tooling (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console).
• A portfolio that specifically demonstrates digital/SEO copywriting - not solely brand or print work - is required to be considered.
