What We're Looking For

VML Health seeks a talented and experienced Copy Supervisor to join our Creative team. The role involves writing clear, concise, and accurate copy for healthcare marketing materials, with a strong understanding of medical terminology, regulatory guidelines, and collaboration with an Art Supervisor.

What You'll Do

  1. Write clear, concise, accurate, and well-organized copy suitable for various formats and annotate projects for fact-checking according to AMA style.
  2. Manage day-to-day brand needs and ensure message consistency across tactics; develop compelling concepts for brand and pitch efforts.
  3. Collaborate with an Art Supervisor to create brand-establishing, emotionally appealing, and action-driving copy and concepts.
  4. Deeply understand brands and therapeutic categories; work with Strategy, Medical, and Account teams.
  5. Manage multiple projects independently, often with varying complexity.
  6. Show strategic understanding of the competitive landscape through collaboration with Strategy and Medical teams.
  7. Develop materials for internal meetings and medical congresses.
  8. Represent the agency during medical/regulatory reviews, offering solutions and recommendations.
  9. Guide and provide feedback to junior copy team members.

Who you are

  1. Capable of creating concepts aligned with client strategies for multiple brands and audiences.
  2. Skilled in bridging creative work with Medical and Legal requirements.
  3. Confident in presenting scientific and technical work in regulated environments.
  4. Strong presentation skills for internal teams.
  5. Conceptual, strategic, curious, and able to see the big picture.
  6. Passionate about healthcare advertising and crafting compelling copy.

What you'll need

  1. Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communication, science, or related fields.
  2. 5-7 years of relevant experience.
  3. Strong portfolio demonstrating strategic, conceptual thinking across various tactics.
  4. Experience in healthcare/pharma industry is a plus but not mandatory.
