Go Port is seeking a friendly Greeter/Loader at Port Canaveral to welcome guests and assist with luggage while coordinating boarding for transportation back to the plaza, airports, or other destinations.

Hours vary Fri-Mon with 8–16 hours weekly and early morning shifts. Weekend availability is required. This role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and outstanding guest service in a dynamic port environment.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Greeter/Loader at Port Canaveral plays a critical role in ensuring a smooth and positive experience for guests returning from their cruises. This position involves greeting guests, assisting with luggage, and coordinating the boarding process for transportation back to the plaza, airports, or other destinations. As the first point of contact, the Greeter/Loader is responsible for maintaining a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring guests’ needs are met efficiently and courteously. Hours for this position are Friday through Monday and fluctuate between 8-16 hrs weekly, and consist of early morning shifts. Saturday and Sunday availability is required, but hours on these days are not guaranteed.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES:

• Set up of staging area in compliance with company policy.
• Use a company-provided iPad to check in and board guests.
• Manage and direct large groups of guests efficiently while maintaining a positive and calm demeanor.
• Swiftly communicate guest numbers and other relevant information to the dispatch team to ensure efficient transportation coordination.
• Ensure that guests are organized and directed to the appropriate buses or shuttles.
• Answer any questions guests may have about their transportation, the local area, or their cruise experience.
• Help guests with loading and unloading their luggage onto transportation vehicles.
• Ensure that the loading and boarding process is orderly, efficient, and safe for all guests.
• Adhere strictly to company procedures when greeting, boarding, and loading buses to ensure consistency and safety.
• Be adaptable to changes in the schedule or procedures as needed to accommodate operational demands.
• Foster and maintain positive relationships with all team members and staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Work closely with other team members to ensure a seamless operation, especially during peak times.
• Strive to deliver exceptional customer service, enhancing the overall guest experience.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma
• 1 year of customer service experience
• Cell phone with data plan
• Proficient in the use of modern technology
• Weekend and holiday availability
• Travel/Hospitality experience preferred

Pay:

$25.00 per hour
