Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support a leading semiconductor equipment manufacturer in Taylor, Texas. The role involves on-site maintenance and repairs of complex equipment, with daily updates to client leadership and meticulous documentation in internal tools.

Candidates should have 1–2 years (level 1) or 3+ years (level 2) of maintenance/troubleshooting/repair experience, strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, and familiarity with robotic systems or SPS.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years (level 1) or 3+ years (level 2) experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, or repairing equipment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience with robotic equipment and semiconductor equipment, preferably surface prep systems (SPS).
• Ability to pass a drug and background check.
• Comfortable with daily commute to Taylor, TX (1 hour max).

Insight Global is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join a leading equipment manufacturer within the semiconductor industry. This individual will be responsible for working onsite at one of their clients in Taylor, Texas. Acting as the support representative assisting in any repairs or routine maintenance of their equipment. Each day you will begin by learning from the previous shift what activities were completed and what is still pending completion. You will also sit down with the clients leadership team to discuss any critical updates and align on priorities for that day. Strong documentation and communication skills is a must for this team as you will be responsible for providing updates to the team directly along with documentation inside of their tool.

Skills and Requirements

• Comfortable with Daily Commuteo (Open to Taylor, Texas daily commute to SAS- 1 hour MAX)
• Ability to pass a drug and background check
• 1- 2 (level 1) or 3+ years (level 2) years of experience with maintenance, troubleshooting, or repairing equipment
• Strong knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical systemsExperience working with / troubleshooting robotic equipment Experience supporting semiconductor equipment preferably surface prep systems (SPS) Military experience in the following MOS’:o Avionics Techniciano Load Mastero Electronics Technician
