Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join a leading semiconductor equipment manufacturer. The position is onsite at a client site in Taylor, Texas, where you will perform repairs and routine maintenance of complex equipment and ensure operational reliability.

You will begin each day by learning from the previous shift what activities were completed and what remains, then meet with the client's leadership to discuss priorities.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Electronics or Engineering.
• 1–2 years (level 1) or 3+ years (level 2) of maintenance, troubleshooting, or repair experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience with robotic equipment or semiconductor equipment.
• Experience with surface prep systems (SPS) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work onsite at a client site in Taylor, TX to perform repairs and routine maintenance.

Insight Global is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join a leading equipment manufacturer within the semiconductor industry. This individual will be responsible for working onsite at one of their clients in Taylor, Texas. Acting as the support representative assisting in any repairs or routine maintenance of their equipment. Each day you will begin by learning from the previous shift what activities were completed and what is still pending completion. You will also sit down with the clients leadership team to discuss any critical updates and align on priorities for that day. Strong documentation and communication skills is a must for this team as you will be responsible for providing updates to the team directly along with documentation inside of their tool.

Skills and Requirements

• Comfortable with Daily Commuteo (Open to Taylor, Texas daily commute to SAS- 1 hour MAX)
• NO prior Samsung experience, contract or perm
• Ability to pass a drug and background check
• 1- 2 (level 1) or 3+ years (level 2) years of experience with maintenance, troubleshooting, or repairing equipment
• Strong knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical systems
• Associates degree in Electronics or EngineeringExperience working with / troubleshooting robotic equipment
• Experience supporting semiconductor equipment preferably surface prep systems (SPS)
• Military experience in the following MOS’:o Avionics Techniciano Load Mastero Electronics Technician
