Role

Scientific Editor/COPY EDITOR

Job Responsibilities

• Screening the metadata and routing the materials to appropriate reviewers
• Proofreading promotional material content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, consistency of language (tense), and adherence to brand style across all print and digital pieces; identifying inconsistencies, awkward wording, etc.
• Reviewing the reference list for compliance with the AMA Manual of Style
• Proofreading the ISI against the approved version
• Conducting word‑to‑word comparison against previous versions to identify discrepancies
• Verifying implementation of changes across all review stages

  • Proofs (Print)
  • Final Samples (Approved for Adaptation Pieces)
  • Functional Reviews
• Checking that all hyperlinks are functioning and routing to the expected screen/page
• Verifying compliance with all digital standards, for example, size/visibility of certain sections such as ISI, legal DISCLAIMERS, etc
• Ensuring that all buttons are active, functioning, and perform the expected action
• Performing checks to ensure that all other functionalities, such as swipe, tap, and other interactivities are functioning appropriately on devices

Compensation & Benefits Transparency Statement

Base Salary Range: $65k–$75k

The compensation range displayed reflects the full span of pay across all of our U.S. geographic pay areas and experience levels. Your actual base salary offer will be determined based on multiple factors, including:

• Geographic Pay Area (US 1 through US 5, reflecting cost‑of‑labor differences)
• Experience & Qualifications relevant to the role
• Internal Equity alignment with employees in similar roles and levels

What This Means for You

• The minimum of the posted range represents the starting point for candidates in the lowest cost‑of‑labor pay areas (US 5).
• The maximum of the posted range represents the upper threshold for candidates in the highest cost‑of‑labor pay areas (US 1 / US 2).
• Candidates are aligned to pay areas based on their primary work location.
