You will splice, upgrade, test, activat e, and troubleshoot post-installation systems, while adhering to industry standards.

Responsibilities include working aerial and underground, performing daily reports, vehicle maintenance, and documentation of material usage.

Qualifications

• Six months of copper splicing experience or one year in the telecommunications industry.
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card.

Responsibilities

• With guidance, perform cable upgrades and splicing tasks, both aerial and underground
• Test, activate, and troubleshoot equipment post-installation
• Ensure all splicing operations meet strict customer and industry standards
• Safely navigate working at different heights, from underground to in the air
• Complete basic daily maintenance of vehicles, including fluid checks
• Document work performed through daily production reports, including marking up maps and keeping correct material usage records
• Other duties as assigned
