Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervises, coordinates and controls safe and efficient operation of an assigned work unit.
• Assigns, supervises, and reviews the work of staff for the unit.
• Implements production plans according to approved schedule.
• Participates in daily operational duties as needed.
• Inspects and evaluates work in progress and directs remedial action.
• Conducts performance evaluations on subordinate staff.
• Prepares estimates of staffing, materials, and equipment needs.
• Maintains inventory of parts and materials; approves purchases.
• Trains staff in safety procedures and maintains safety data sheets.
• Performs other duties as required.
