Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a FAB - Kitter Floater - 1st shift in Arden, NC. The hourly rate for this position is $21.00 per hour. The salary note indicates general guidance based on skills and market conditions.

The Fabrication Operator will flex to fill multiple roles, operating copper equipment and coordinating schedules to meet customer requirements. This role requires safe work habits and strong teamwork to support production needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. from an accredited institution.
• Computer experience – Microsoft Excel, MAPICS, DMM and Enovia.
• Forklift certified or ability to obtain forklift certification.
• Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Utilize DMM, Enovia, kit assigned item self-manufactured materials.
• Review status of orders and materials to identify future requirements.
• Review the status of material shortages with fabrication supervisor/team lead.
• Process surplus and/or non-conforming material according to procedures.
• Observe all safety regulations as specified or directed.
• Maintain a clean, orderly and safe workplace.
• Establish part and process intimacy for assigned area and material.
• Assist and/or fill gaps in copper shop if needed to meet production requirements.
