Job summary

Eaton in Omaha, NE is seeking a Machine Operator - Copper Fabrication to produce copper busway components for switchgear by reading engineering prints and measuring stock with tape. You will operate a shear, punch press, and press brake, and guide epoxy coating through the workflow to meet tight tolerances.

Role requires standing up to 8 hours, lifting around 35 pounds, and basic blueprint reading. Shift is 7:00pm to 5:30am with pay of $20.50/hr plus $1 shift differential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 1 year of CNC Machine Operator experience.

Responsibilities

• Reference engineering prints or drawings.
• Use tape measure and other devices to measure bar stock.
• Operate a shear, punch press, and press brake machine to manipulate copper bar stock.
• Manipulate material through epoxy coating process.
• Use measuring devices to work within tolerances.
• Assist in the installation as needed.
