Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Machine Operator - Copper Fabrication for the Omaha, NE site on 1st shift. The role focuses on fabricating copper bar stock into busway components and epoxy coating processes, with precise measurement against engineering drawings.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma or GED and at least 1 year of CNC machine experience. Local candidates within 50 miles are preferred; overtime may occur on Friday/Saturday.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year CNC Machine Operator experience.
• No immigration sponsorship or relocation benefits; candidates must reside within 50 miles of Omaha, NE.

Responsibilities

• Reference engineering prints or drawings.
• Measure bar stock using tape measure and devices.
• Operate shear, punch press, and press brake to shape copper bar stock.
• Coat copper bar stock with epoxy as required.
• Maintain tolerances with measuring devices.
• Assist with installation when needed.
