Smardt Inc. in Phoenix, AZ invites experienced Brazers to join our mechanical assembly team. You will braze copper piping and refrigeration components for HVAC water chillers, read drawings, and ensure leak-free joints to exact specs.

Travel to Montreal for ~4 weeks of training is required to get you up to speed with our standards. We promote safety, quality workmanship, and teamwork. Benefits include health and dental coverage from day one, a 401K match, and a collaborative global environment

Qualificações

• 3+ years brazing experience in HVAC or refrigeration
• Experience with copper piping and refrigerant circuits
• HVAC equipment manufacturing or piping experience desirable
• HVAC installation or pipefitting experience encouraged

Responsabilidades

• Brazing copper piping and refrigeration components to spec
• Join copper tubing to create leak-free joints per procedures
• Assemble and install refrigerant piping in water chiller units
• Perform pressure tests and evacuations; verify leaks
