Job summary

TEKsystems seeks a Technical Product Owner to lead Microsoft 365 Copilot and AI-powered productivity platforms. You will own the strategy, manage backlogs, and coordinate with security, governance, and data teams to drive measurable business outcomes.

Hybrid role based in Bellingham, WA, with a focus on adoption, training, and continuous product improvement in an enterprise environment. Strong communication and Scrum experience required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or Technical Product Owner in an Agile environment.
• Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 Copilot and enterprise AI platforms.
• Experience supporting AI adoption and productivity initiatives.
• Strong experience in backlog management, prioritization, and roadmap development.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Knowledge of Generative AI, Machine Learning, and modern productivity platforms.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, APIs, and automation frameworks.
• Experience working in Scrum or Agile delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the vision, strategy, and execution of Microsoft 365 Copilot and AI productivity platforms.
• Drive prioritization decisions across implementation backlogs.
• Ensure solutions align with security, governance, compliance, and responsible AI requirements.
• Identify opportunities where AI and automation can deliver measurable business value.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and user pain points; translate into user stories and specs.
• Manage and prioritize product backlogs based on business value, user impact, risk, and technical considerations.
• Develop and maintain strategic roadmaps for AI and productivity platforms.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, governance, legal, and data teams.
• Define success metrics, acceptance criteria, testing requirements; support UAT and release readiness.
• Drive adoption through training, office hours, prompt libraries, and user guides.
• Monitor usage, performance, adoption, and feedback; drive continuous improvement.
• Stay current with Generative AI, ML, Copilot capabilities; explore innovations.
