The City of New York – NYCERS is seeking a Copado DevOps Engineer to support the Legacy Replacement Project. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Copado CI/CD implementation and Salesforce DevOps strategy. This position will work closely with vendor and internal teams to manage deployment processes, streamline releases, and oversee environment governance.
Copado Implementation & Deployment Strategy – Full setup and management of Copado pipelines, Compliance Hub, and Data Deploy.
CI/CD Integration & Automation – Modernizing legacy deployment approaches and establishing streamlined DevOps workflows.
Salesforce Environment Management – Managing and synchronizing multiple orgs and sandboxes across teams.
Metadata Governance & Version Control – Using Git-based tools for Salesforce metadata versioning and tracking.
Production Deployment & Support – Running production releases and managing change, incident, and issue resolution processes.
Implement and manage Copado pipelines and CI/CD processes.
Train and onboard developers and other roles on Copado use and best practices.
Transition from change set–driven deployments to fully automated Copado workflows.
Maintain and synchronize Salesforce environments (sandboxes, UAT, production).
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve pipeline issues and deployment failures.
Ensure seamless flow of metadata changes between environments.
Support production deployments and manage related governance and compliance processes.
