Overview And Responsibilities

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer - Personalization Services to join our Applied Intelligence Personalization Team. The engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining infrastructure that supports ML applications on Kubernetes and Ray Clusters, driving personalized content experiences at scale for Paramount+.

The role involves ensuring system reliability, scalability, and performance, with a focus on high-volume real-time recommendations. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience with Kubernetes, TensorFlow, Prometheus, and high-performance parallel computing.

Responsibilities Include

• Design, implement, and manage scalable ML infrastructure.
• Optimize Kubernetes deployments for ML workloads.
• Manage and scale Ray Clusters.
• Automate CI/CD pipelines for ML models.
• Develop observability solutions with Prometheus, Datadog, and OpenTelemetry.
• Ensure high availability, security, and performance.
• Collaborate with ML engineers and backend teams.
• Implement autoscaling strategies.
• Optimize TensorFlow training and serving.
• Debug and resolve production issues related to latency and scaling.

Key Projects

• Build scalable Kubernetes infrastructure for ML applications.
• Develop Ray Clusters for parallel ML workloads.
• Implement logging and monitoring solutions.
• Optimize TensorFlow pipelines.
• Enhance real-time inference and personalization deployment.
• Improve distributed computing strategies.

Basic Qualifications

• 2+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure, with strong knowledge of GCP, AWS, or AZURE.
• Experience with online inference, TensorFlow, and high-performance computing.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Helm).

Additional Qualifications

• Experience with message queues (Kafka, Pub/Sub).
• Monitoring and logging expertise.
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Experience with ML serving frameworks (TensorFlow Serving, Triton).
• Knowledge of load balancing, API gateways, caching.
• Familiarity with Argo CD.
• Passion for scalable ML infrastructure.

Additional Information

Salary Range: $74,400 - $150,000. Starting pay depends on location, experience, and other factors. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), insurance, tuition assistance, and PTO. Bonus eligibility applies.
