Job summary

Edwards Lifesciences is seeking a Training Coordinator to support Global Operations & Quality. The role focuses on maintaining training records, onboarding, and ensuring compliance with ISO13485 and FDA Part 820 across the site in California.

You will manage LMS activities, assist in on-site training, and help keep certifications current while supporting Group Leaders and the training program at large.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or equivalent.
• Good interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication required.
• High level of self-directed initiative, organizational and recordkeeping skills, and attention to detail required.

Responsibilities

• Process, track and maintain training and certification records in compliance to ISO13485 and FDA Part 820 regulatory requirements.
• Receive new employees directly from New Employee Orientation (NEO) and assist in training on site-specific procedures and EH&S, as well as on global production training.
• Ensure manufacturing training and certifications are completed within time requirements by reviewing training status of all employees in LMS.
• Answer questions from LMS users and help them to efficiently execute their work within these systems.
• Assist in Instructor Led Training (ILT) for general updates, in the clean room.
• Prepare training documentation for Read and Review and On The Job (OJT) methods of training.

You’ll partner cross-functionally with manufacturing operations and sales teams, delivering thoughtful solutions to complex challenges all while developing your knowledge of the medical device industry. Whether your work includes strategic inventory planning, labeling, warehouse management, material handling, or any of our other supply chain opportunities, you will be making a meaningful contribution to our team and to patients all over the world. The Training Coordinator ensures Operations and Quality employees are compliant with all required global, EHS, and job specific training, as well as providing support for Group Leaders and serving as the LMS systems expert.

How you'll make an impact:

• Process, track and maintain training and certification records both electronically and hard copy in compliance to ISO13485 and FDA Part 820 regulatory requirements.
• Receive new employees directly from New Employee Orientation (NEO) and assist in training on site-specific general procedures and EH&S, as well as on global production training.
• Ensure manufacturing training and certifications are completed within time requirements by frequently reviewing training status of all employees in LMS.

What else we look for:

• Training experience preferred.
• LMS experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of a variety of software packages, including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control.

For California, the base pay range for this position is $39,000 to $53,000 (highly experienced). The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).
