EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Knowledge of basic information systems such as Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and keyboarding skills usually acquired though completion of computer classes, Business or Secretarial school. Equivalent work experience may be accepted in lieu of formal education. Approximately two years of experience in the Medical Imaging, Radiology, or Surgical Services Department in order to gain an understanding of the needs of the various departments and develop the skills necessary to coordinate information. Ability to learn and master new computer systems, as required. Analytical skills necessary to analyze and evaluate integrity of data and identify solutions to problems. Communication and interpersonal skills necessary to interact with a wide variety of individuals. Ability to coordinate information and interact with various departments such as HFHS Information Systems and Nursing.
