Crowley Maritime Corporation seeks a detail‑oriented logistics professional to administer the efficient and economical movement of cargo and to process documentation within established deadlines and regulatory requirements. This role emphasizes accuracy, compliance, and coordination with customers, foreign offices, and internal teams.

Key responsibilities include coordinating shipments with warehouses, tracing and releasing cargo at port facilities, reviewing documents, and ensuring invoices

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; job-related training preferred.
• 0–2 years in general office, transportation/logistics environment preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office and basic routing/documentation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cargo movement with customers, foreign offices and departments.
• Prepare, review and maintain import/export files and documentation.
• Coordinate shipments with warehouse; ensure cargo is traced, cleared and released at ports.
• Receive, reconcile, generate and summarize documents and information.
• Ensure invoices align with shipments and regulatory requirements; apply rates to bills of lading.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

Responsible for administering efficient and economical movement of cargo and/or processing documentation within established deadlines and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Resolve cargo transportation needs by coordinating directly with customers, foreign offices, government agencies and other departments.
• Prepare, review, approve and maintain files required for the lawful completion of both import/export activities.
• Coordinate shipments with the warehouse and ensure cargo is traced, cleared and released at the port facilities.
• Receive, reconcile, generate, consolidate and/or summarize documents and information.
• Ensure invoices are accurate and in accordance to the physical shipment and customer regulatory requirements.
• May be required to interpret, review and apply appropriate rates to bills of lading timely and accurately while staying compliant with the rules and regulations.

Qualifications

Education & Credentials:

• High school diploma or equivalent, with course work after high school and/or job-related training preferred.

Experience:

• 0 – 2 years general office, transportation/logistics experience with knowledge of ocean/air documents, customs forms and regulations preferred.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook and Word.

Other:

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) may be required.
