Educational And Experience Requirement

Bachelor’s degree in related field. One year of experience in a related field. A combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered.

Nature & Purpose Of Position

Performs semi-complex administrative and supervisory program work for Women’s Basketball.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Oversees the work of assigned program staff.
  • Prepares and reviews reports on the effectiveness of program activities.
  • Plans, implements, coordinates, monitors, and evaluates all aspects of team travel to include scheduling of hotels, busses, equipment trucks, and meals.
  • Ensures travel arrangements, while conforming to University and National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) guidelines.
  • Travels with the team to all functions to ensure student athletes are provided with adequate housing and meals.
  • Reviews all bills related to team functions, and submits them to the Athletic Finance office for payment.
  • Oversees the process of fundraising, promotions, inventory management and events for program.
  • Recommends program guidelines, procedures, policies, rules, and regulations.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Other Specifications

Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws. Ability to supervise business functions. Communicates with other university departments, personnel, and other agencies.
