This position supports the Talent Acquisition and Employment Department's Certification and Compliance team by coordinating and monitoring personnel compliance activities to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local requirements for all newly hired School Division personnel. This position provides guidance to administrators, supervisors, applicants, and employees regarding compliance procedures and requirements and assists with organizational accreditation, risk management and workforce integrity. This position supports communication between the HR Certification and Compliance team and Division leadership to promote effective onboarding and placement practices.
Essential Responsibilities Specific to This Job
- Provides guidance and technical assistance to administrators, supervisors, applicants, and employees regarding certification, licensure, and employment compliance requirements.
- Coordinates employment authorization, eligibility verification, fingerprinting, and other pre- employment compliance activities for newly hired personnel.
- Reviews employment documentation and compliance records to support adherence to local, state, and federal requirements and School Division policies and procedures.
- Provides support and guidance to compliance staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Monitors compliance activities, identifies discrepancies, and assists with the resolution of compliance-related issues.
- Supports the supervisor by tracking, maintaining, and validating compliance data for audits, state reports, and other reporting requirements.
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders to maintain certification, licensure, and compliance data and records, including data associated with Title I schools.
- Maintains certification and compliance information within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and assists with data validation, reporting, and process improvements.
- Maintains certification and compliance webpages and communications to ensure current and accurate information is available to employees, applicants, and stakeholders.
- Assists with compliance audits, monitoring activities, and responses to inquiries from internal and external agencies.
- Processes and tracks billing, payments, and related documentation for compliance services provided by external agencies.
- Notarizes employment documents and provides onboarding support for newly hired personnel, as needed.
- Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

Education Requirement
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in human resource management, business administration or a related field.
Work Experience Requirement
Minimum of three years human resources experience.
