United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee in Colorado Springs is seeking a Coordinator to support the administration and execution of sport, staffing, logistical, and technical operations for Team USA’s participation in the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Under the supervision of the Manager, Games Operations, you will manage data in Event-Works, assist with registration, accreditation, and delegation processes, and coordinate communications with stakeholders to ensure timely, compliant game

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years’ experience with event operations, logistics and team management, event systems oversight, and/or data management.
  • Experience with CRM systems and/or event management systems.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a multilingual, multicultural office environment.
  • Ability to work with large-scale, complex data systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of USOPC and Olympic Movement.

Here’s a Summary Of Responsibilities Under the supervision of the Manager, Games Operations, and in collaboration with the Games Operations team, the Coordinator will support the administration and execution of the sport, staffing, logistical, and technical operations for Team USA’s participation in the Olympic, Paralympic, Pan American, Parapan American Games. Primary responsibilities include supporting the USOPC’s customer-facing games deliverables and Delegation Management processes (Games Registration, Accreditation/Access, Games Requirements, and Delegation Registration), communicating with key stakeholders, and coordinating data and report administration that are critical for successful Games execution. TheCoordinatorwill support and promote the Olympic and Paralympic Movement and contribute to overall planning and implementation of Games Operations division priorities.

Here’s How You’ll Have An Impact
  • Responsible for the collection and maintenance of critical games data in the Team USA event management system (Event-Works) as it relates to Games Surveys, Games Registration, Accreditation/Access, Delegation App (TeamWorks), and Games Requirements for Team USA.
  • Provide cross-functional support to Games Operations, IT, and other teams regarding Games Registration portal and Event Management System. Aid in deployment, improvements, and additions to the systems, as well as the development of training and educational materials.
  • Collaborate with Internal Stakeholders, National Governing Bodies, and administrators to ensure that all Organizing Committee and USOPC Games Compliance Requirements are met in a timely manner, including background checks, USOPC Delegation Terms, Sport Integrity, SafeSport training, and USADA training. Enter and track all data for long list, short list, final list, and associated requirements.
  • Assist in preparing, updating, and coordinating the timely distribution of communications to Team USA delegation members to complete required Games processes. Monitor relevant inboxes and provide troubleshooting information. Trackregistration task completions, in partnership with relevant departments and system administrators.
  • Collect, validate, and manage Games-related information and large datasets, including Coord., Games Operations page 1 passports, headshots, IOC/IPC Conditions of Participation Agreements (COPAs), and delegation management data. Oversee data uploads, transfers, integrations, and audits across Games systems including USOPC Games Operations, IOC, IPC, ANOC, and Organizing Committee platforms while ensuring information is accurate, timely, compliant, and consistently maintained.
  • In collaboration with the Games Directors, utilize the Organizing Committee’s Estimated Team Size Calculator to help manage accreditation and access allocation. Support Games Director in accreditation conversations with NGBs and USOPC stakeholders.
  • Ensure all critical Games deadlines are met, and all Team USA delegation data is accurate to deliver successful Delegation Registration Meetings (DRMs) with Games Organizing Committees.
  • Facilitate Pre-Valid Card (PVC) distribution, processing, and validation, in collaboration with Games Operations Team receive PVCs from the Organizing Committee and distribute to NGBs and USOPC delegation members in a timely manner. Provide PVC support for delegation members’ successful entry and access in host country.
  • Perform Games-time support in assigned functional areas and/or Games processes while on the ground in the Games host city or remotely if not on-site.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Hiring pay range $23.50-24.00 per hour.
  • This Full-Time, Non-Exempt position is intended to work 40 hours per week.
  • Bonus: This position will be eligible for the Annual Incentive Award Program, which has a 5% target. The USOPC may change or eliminate this program at any time at its sole discretion.
