Job summary

Oakland University is seeking a Coordinator for Learning Communities within Housing Residential Life to design and coordinate residential learning initiatives that support student engagement, academic success, and community building.

You will collaborate with faculty, Housing staff and campus partners to create and assess programs, supervise student staff, and promote student belonging and retention, including flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Strong communication, organization, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other teams within the department, as well as campus partners across divisions.
• Background in working with students in a higher education residential setting.
• Experience with academic support, student success initiatives, or residential learning programs.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise student staff members.
• Availability to work flexible hours including occasional nights and weekends.

Position Information

Minimum Qualifications
