Job summary

U.S. Chamber of Commerce in the United States seeks a Coordinator to provide program, event, membership, and operations support for the Americas Department. The role reports to the senior vice president, Americas.

Position Overview

The Coordinator will provide program, event, membership, and operations support for the Americas Department. This position reports to the senior vice president, Americas.

Responsibilities
  • Help plan and execute programs for the Americas Department.
  • Coordinate the organization of events, including meetings, conferences and business delegations.
  • Prepare written communications, including briefing memos, correspondence, press releases, blog posts, text for social media.
  • Help draft, edit, format, and disseminate newsletters, event invitations, marketing materials, and program updates.
  • Support and help track member company engagement and communications.
  • Maintain and update mailing lists and management systems.
  • Monitor and prepare country-specific intelligence updates on political and economic developments as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years’ related work experience.
  • Self-starter and able to meet time-sensitive deadlines, multitask, and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading.
  • Events logistics experience.
  • Experience interacting with business executives and government officials.
  • Proficiency in Spanish strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce is preferred.

The salary range for this position is $51,846.00 to $59,000.00. The actual salary paid for this position will vary based on market data, an applicant’s qualifications, relevant degrees, certifications, and other factors. Our full-time employees are eligible for benefits, including health care, vision, dental, retirement, and paid leave.
