Job summary

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is seeking a detail-oriented Coordinator to support the Strategy and Partnerships team with administrative functions and event logistics in Washington, DC.

You will manage calendars, travel, CMS/CRM data, and collaborate with executives and staff to ensure timely communications and polished materials, while growing your professional skills in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Strong writing and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience commensurate with the role.
  • 1–2 years’ administrative experience.
  • Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong writing, editing, and proofreading.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, handle confidential information, and interact with high-level executives and their staffs.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong client service ethic.
  • Interest in media, marketing, and sales.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and comfort with Canva, Photoshop, CRMs, and other software is a plus.

  • Plan, manage logistics, and provide support for a variety of virtual and in-person events.
  • Schedule internal and external meetings.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, logistics, briefing materials, and expense reports.
  • Maintain and update contact databases and CRM systems relevant to partner engagement.
  • Draft memos, decks, and other materials and conduct research to support team initiatives.
  • Perform other administrative duties and special projects as assigned.

Position Overview

The Coordinator will support the senior vice president, Strategy and Partnerships, and share administrative responsibilities with the Global Partnerships and Marketing team. The team manages a wide range of partnerships, including large enterprise initiatives, digital campaigns, and event sponsorships.

The salary range for this position is $51,846.00 to $65,000.00. The actual salary paid for this position will vary based on market data, an applicant’s qualifications, relevant degrees, certifications, and other factors. Our full-time employees are eligible for benefits, including health care, vision, dental, retirement, and paid leave.
