• Work with freight carriers/brokers to ensure on-time arrivals and manage invoicing approvals.
• Prepare and process import documents and broker invoices; manage container shipments.

We are partnering with a footwear company seeking a Coordinator. The Coordinator will be part of a team that transports goods into the country, and will manage data entry, excel spreadsheets, communicate information, and help arrange shipments. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with exposure to logistics or supply chain to learn and grow in their career.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and process import documents and work with customs brokers to obtain all custom releases for import shipments.
• Assist supervisors to resolve all transaction issues.
• Maintain status report for all shipments and maintain knowledge on all technical issues for brokers and collaborate with various departments for release of all goods from customs.
• Collaborate freight forwarders and administer appropriate movement of all goods and supervise all freight flow and ensure clearance and delivery of all import goods.
• Work with freight carriers/brokers to ensure arrival of all goods within required timeframe.
• Evaluate all import transportation and assist in approval of all invoices for payment.
• Prepare and process all import documents and broker invoices and manage all container shipments in coordination with freight carriers and customers.
• Manage data entry and excel spreadsheets

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, look ups, etc.)
• Some import/supply chain/logistics experience

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working in a retail setting

Compensation:

$22-25/hr

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
