Performance Foodservice, a PFG broadline distributor, is seeking a Produce Inventory Clerk to check produce quality, perform daily inventory and remove substandard items. You will interact with customers and vendors, ensure proper dating and rotation, and support repack operations as needed.
The role requires basic procurement/warehouse experience, forklift certification is a plus, and a Monday–Friday schedule with possible Sunday coverage. Safety and accuracy in inventory are essential.

We Deliver the Goods:
Responsible for checking quality of designated product and taking daily inventory on produce. Removes spoiled product that is short-dated from inventory and repacking full cases into smaller quantities. Responsible for quality check of all produce pick locations. Pulls for dump or salvage any produce with decay or otherwise not meeting shipping requirements. Reports any dumps or salvage to Inventory Control. Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.

High School Diploma/GED
6-12 months Procurement, warehouse and / or administrative experience in related area
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Potential support on Sunday 6:30 AM to 2:00 PM during vacation coverage.
