Core-Mark in Kentucky is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to support daily stock counts, verify receipts, and maintain accurate records. You will work directly with Delivery Drivers and co-workers to ensure timely and accurate inventory, reducing spoilage and losses.
You will inspect goods for quality, maintain daily inventory levels, and participate in repacking activities as needed. A High School Diploma/GED and 6–12 months in accounting or inventory admin is required, with potential growth

A team of sales reps, chefs, consultants, and other experts builds close relationships with customers - providing advice on improving operations, menu development, product selection, and operational strategies. Under direct supervision, compiles and maintains records of quantity, type, and value of material, property, equipment, merchandise, or supplies. Counts material, property, equipment, merchandise, or supplies and posts totals to inventory/property records. Verifies and records computations against physical count of inventory and adjusts errors in computation or count, or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies. Responsible for checking in Delivery Drivers, inspecting all returning trailers, verifying returned goods and damaged products and re-entering goods into inventory. Handles all matters relating to inventory control, checking quality of designated product, taking daily inventory on produce and product spoiled. Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Required Education: High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
Required Experience: 6 - 12 Months ; Accounting, inventory accounting admin support or related area
