Job summary

Boston Children's Hospital is seeking a Program Coordinator to manage multiple program activities under general supervision and ensure goals are met within priorities, timeframes, and funding constraints.

The role involves coordinating daily operations, assisting in drafting funding proposals, advising staff, preparing progress reports, and liaising with internal teams and external partners to support program objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate activities and daily operations of a program and monitor progress.
  • Assist in development or revision of program goals and objectives.
  • Prepare or assist in preparing proposals for funding from external sponsors.
  • Advise staff and others, provide technical assistance and problem-solving support.
  • Prepare periodic reports and records on program activities for management or outside agencies.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness to identify improvements and innovations.
  • Review applications or program documents to determine acceptance or decisions, with supervisor input.
  • Assist in recruitment efforts and support written communications and promotional materials.
  • Plan workshops or conferences; coordinate logistics, scheduling and participant communications; liaise with staff and outside/community agencies; may supervise staff.

Position Summary

Under general supervision, coordinates all activities and functions of 1 or more programs to ensure that goals and objectives specified for the program are accomplished in accordance with established priorities, time limitations, funding limitations or other specifications.


Key Responsibilities

Coordinates activities and daily operations of a program. Assists in the development of new or revision of program goals and objectives. 2. Prepares or assists in preparation of proposal for funding and/or funding continuation from outside sponsors. 3. Confers with and advises staff and others to provide technical advice, problem solving assistance, answers to questions and program goals; refers to appropriate department person when unable to respond. 4. Prepares periodic reports and records on program activities, progress, status or other special reports for management or outside agencies. 5. May evaluate program effectiveness to develop improved methods. 6. May review applications or other program documents independently or in conjunction with supervisor to determine acceptance or make decisions pertaining to program. 7. May Assist in the coordination of recruitment efforts Assists with written communication and promotional literature. 8. May plan workshops, meetings or conferences; coordinates logistics, scheduling and participant communications. Interacts and maintains liaison with staff, faculty and outside/community agencies in facilitating program objectives. 9. May supervise staff

The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.
