Job summary

OSF HealthCare in Peoria, IL is seeking a Unit Health Coordinator to provide administrative and unit-based coordination on a 36-hour weekly, 3x12 shift schedule (6pm–6am).

In this role you will support nursing care managers, staff, physicians, and patients, ensuring accurate documentation and efficient workflow within the nursing unit.

Expected pay for this position is $18.27 - $20.29/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.

Overview

This job is located in Peoria, IL

3 x 12 hour shifts- 36 hours a week

6pm-6am- 3rd shift

POSITION SUMMARY: The Unit Health Coordinator provides administrative, clerical, and unit-based coordination support for an assigned nursing unit, including computer operations and telephone/communication management. Serves as a key liaison for the nursing care manager, staff nurses, physicians, ancillary departments, patients, and visitors by facilitating efficient workflow, supporting accurate documentation, and contributing to a high-quality patient care experience within scope of role.

Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: 6 months' experience of office, hospital, administrative duties, customer service, and computer knowledge.
