Job summary

Mt. Hood Meadows is seeking a Rental Shop Technician at Cooper Spur Ski Area to help guests get properly fitted and ready to hit the slopes with equipment that’s comfortable, appropriate, and ready to go.

This part-time, seasonal role involves fitting boots, skis, and helmets, processing rental paperwork, preparing equipment for groups and online reservations, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace while delivering friendly service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older.
• Able to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Must have reliable transportation for winter road conditions.
• Ability to perform manual tasks requiring moderate physical strength, including shoveling snow.
• Must be comfortable with the changing dynamics of a seasonal business.

Responsibilities

• Fit guests with ski and snowboard boots, equipment, and helmets, ensuring comfort and proper fit.
• Process rental paperwork and ensure equipment is properly fitted and adjusted before use.
• Prepare equipment for groups and online reservations.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and assist guests with basic resort information.

Position Overview

A great day on the mountain starts with the right gear. As a Rental Shop Technician at Cooper Spur Ski Area, part of Mt. Hood Meadows, you’ll help guests get properly fitted and ready to hit the slopes with equipment that’s comfortable, appropriate, and ready to go.

You’ll provide friendly, efficient service while fitting guests with ski and snowboard boots, equipment, and helmets. You’ll help ensure rental paperwork is complete, equipment is properly fitted and adjusted, and guests feel comfortable and confident before heading out. You’ll also prepare equipment for groups and online reservations, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and assist guests with basic resort information.

Compensation:

• Wage:$ 18.94 - $21.93 Hourly
