Job summary

Vertiv in Ohio seeks a cooling Field Engineer to install, commission and service Liebert Air cooling systems at customer sites. You will build rapport with customers and collaborate with field teams and district offices to ensure reliable operation and timely updates.

The role demands hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, strict safety practices, and the ability to work under supervision or independently. Travel, documentation, and adherence to company guidelines are regular duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Render on-site and phone assistance to customers.
• Communicate with National Technical Support on equipment issues.
• Perform work related tasks according to company guidelines for scheduled maintenance.
• Implement Field Change Notices according to published guidelines.
• Keep current on Safety Bulletins, Safety Field Change Notices, Field Change Notices, and Service Tips.
• Provide accurate and timely reporting according to company guidelines.
• Timecards, expense reports, mileage reports, ticket closure, forms et al.
