Meadow Gold, a farmer-owned DFA brand, seeks a full-time Cooler/Distribution Operator in Idaho. You will perform receiving, storing, and distributing tasks to support product flow and operate forklift equipment on a cold, wet production floor.

Qualifications

• Must have recent forklift experience and be able to pass a forklift certification test.
• Be able to work in a cold, wet environment at 35-40 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, storing and distributing tasks to aid in distribution of products.
• Operate forklift and participate in order picking, case washing, and packing as needed.
• Work a regular, full-time schedule (at least 40 hours per week) and comply with safety standards.

This position is responsible for performing any combination of receiving, storing and distributing tasks to assist in the distribution of our products. Cooler Operators are Order Pickers, Forklift Operators, and Case Washer Operators.

THESE POSITION STARTS AT $22.35 for first 6 months, $23.66 until May 1st, then $24.44 at one year wage is $27.16 PER HOUR, PLUS OVERTIME

Schedule is:

Sunday - 08:00 AM to 04:00 PM

Monday - 04:00 PM to 12:00 AM

Tuesday - 04:00 PM to 12:00 AM

Thursday - 04:00 PM to 12:00 AM

Friday - 04:00 PM to 12:00 AM

IT IS A REGULAR, FULL-TIME POSITION, WORKING AT LEAST 40 HOURS PER WEEK

• Must have recent forklift experience
• Must be able to pass a forklift certification test
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractionsand decimals
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs, frequently lift and/or move above shoulder height, stand, walk, kneel and bend required for virtually the entire shift
• Must be able to work in a cold, wet environment where temperature is maintained at 35-40 degrees Fahrenheit
• Be able to effectively work in a team environment
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
