Job summary

Meadow Gold, a DFA brand, is seeking a distribution associate to perform receiving, storing and distributing tasks to support product movement. You’ll act as an Order Picker, Forklift Operator, and Case Washer Operator, contributing to cold-chain operations in a dairy setting.

The role offers competitive pay starting at 22.35/hour for six months, with raises to 23.66 and 24.44, and a 27.16/hour wage after one year, plus overtime.

Qualifications

• Must have recent forklift experience.
• Must be able to pass a forklift certification test.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must perform basic math in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs and up to 100 lbs occasionally, with ability to stand and move for long periods.
• Work in a cold 35–40°F environment and communicate effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform any combination of receiving, storing and distributing tasks.
• Operate as Order Picker, Forklift Operator, and Case Washer Operator.
• Support distribution of Meadow Gold products and maintain safety.

This position is responsible for performing any combination of receiving, storing and distributing tasks to assist in the distribution of our products. Cooler Operators are Order Pickers, Forklift Operators, and Case Washer Operators.

THESE POSITION STARTS AT $22.35 for first 6 months, $23.66 until May 1st, then $24.44 at one year wage is $27.16 PER HOUR, PLUS OVERTIME

Schedule is:

Sunday - 08:00 AM to 04:00 PM

Monday - 04:00 PM to 12:00 AM

Tuesday - 04:00 PM to 12:00 AM

Thursday - 04:00 PM to 12:00 AM

Friday - 04:00 PM to 12:00 AM

Requirements

• Must have recent forklift experience
• Must be able to pass a forklift certification test
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractionsand decimals
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs, frequently lift and/or move above shoulder height, stand, walk, kneel and bend required for virtually the entire shift
• Must be able to work in a cold, wet environment where temperature is maintained at 35-40 degrees Fahrenheit
• Be able to effectively work in a team environment
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
