Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC in Greenfield, MA is seeking a Cooler Service Field Technician to service vending, fountain and carton-cooler units in the field.

You will perform repairs on refrigeration units (True, Imbera, IDW), schedule preventive maintenance, manage parts, and complete required paperwork while maintaining a clean, safe work area. A valid driver's license and ability to lift 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ year experience with refrigeration/HVAC preferred.
• Ability to interpret mechanical/electrical concepts and schematics.
• Basic computer literacy for paperwork and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair work on refrigeration/sealed unit coolers.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs.
• Schedule and conduct preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Manage parts inventory and ensure vehicle is stocked.

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 7:00AM - 3:30PM (Times may vary depending on business needs)

Job Description

The Cooler Service Field Technician is responsible for performing mechanical services on vending, fountain and carton-cooler equipment in the field.

• Perform repair work on refrigeration sealed unit coolers (True, Imbera, IDW)
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs
• Schedule and conduct preventive maintenance on equipment
• Manage parts inventory and ensure vehicle is stocked appropriately
• Complete required paperwork
• Maintain clean and safe work area at all time
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Job Requirements

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent required
• 1+years of experience working on refrigeration / HVAC preferred
• Ability to effectively juggle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
• Demonstrated mechanical, technical and electrical aptitude
• Basic proficiency with computer applications
• Must have the ability to regularly lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds, reach above head height, squat, kneel, bend and reach
• Must have the ability to maneuver equipment in order to perform mechanical services
• Valid driver's license and driving record within MVR policy guidelines
