Job summary

Tacos La Villa is hiring a Cook at our Bakersfield location to help prepare fresh ingredients and maintain the quality the brand is known for.

Day, night, and overnight shifts are available. You will need to be able to stand for long periods and lift 25–30 lbs; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred to assist a diverse team and guest base.

Previous restaurant or customer service experience is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes
Wash, cut, portion, and marinate ingredients
Prepare proteins, rice, beans, salsas, and other products
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
Restock stations and assist during peak hours
Complete opening and closing duties as assigned

As a Cook, you’ll help prepare fresh ingredients and maintain the quality Tacos La Villa is known for.
