Job summary

Tacos La Villa in Bakersfield, CA is hiring Cooks to join a fast-paced kitchen. You’ll help prepare fresh ingredients and maintain the quality the restaurant is known for.

We offer day, night and overnight shifts, bilingual English/Spanish colleagues, friendly team environment, and opportunities for growth. Previous restaurant experience is a plus but not required; ability to stand and lift up to 30 lbs is expected.

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
• Restock stations and assist during peak hours
• Complete opening and closing duties as assigned

As a Cook, you’ll help prepare fresh ingredients and maintain the quality Tacos La Villa is known for.

Responsibilities / Responsabilidades

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes

• Lavar, cortar, porcionar y marinar ingredientes
• Prepare proteins, rice, beans, salsas, and other products
• Preparar proteínas, arroz, frijoles, salsas y otros productos
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
• Mantener la cocina limpia y organizada
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
• Seguir procedimientos de seguridad e higiene alimentaria
• Restock stations and assist during peak hours
• Reabastecer estaciones y apoyar durante horas pico
• Complete opening and closing duties as assigned
• Completar tareas de apertura y cierre
