Job summary

Insomnia Cookies in Fairfax, VA is looking for energetic Cookie Crew Members to welcome guests, bake warm cookies, and fulfill delivery and pickup orders with care.

You will work in a fast-paced bakery, operate the register, and keep the floor and oven area clean while delivering a friendly, memorable guest experience.

Evening, late-night, weekend, and holiday shifts are common, with clear opportunities for growth into Shift Leader and other bakery leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to obtain any required food safety certifications applicable to the location.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome every guest with genuine hospitality and make every interaction memorable.
• Prepare, bake, and package our warm cookies, brownies, ice cream, and other treats to Insomnia's quality standards.
• Accurately prepare in-store, pickup, delivery, and online orders.
• Operate the register and process guest transactions.
• Keep the bakery clean, stocked, organized, and food-safe throughout every shift.
• Jump in wherever your team needs you, whether that's restocking supplies, helping a teammate, or keeping the line moving.
• Resolve guest concerns with empathy and urgency, partnering with your Shift Leader when needed.
• Deliver the kind of experience that turns first-time guests into lifelong Insomniacs.
