Job summary

Insomnia Cookies in Stamford, CT is hiring for the Cookie Crew at our brand-new location. You are the front-line touchpoint for customers and you also bake our warm, delicious cookies and serve fellow Insomniacs with a smile.

This part-time role includes flexible hours, on-demand pay, and opportunities for growth. As a member of the Cookie Crew, you will greet guests, help them understand the menu, take accurate orders, handle payments, bake cookies and scoop ice cream, and keep the bakery clean

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience in a customer service focused role.
• Personable, genuine, outgoing demeanor.
• Customer service mindset focused on exceeding guest expectations.
• Strong communication and math skills.
• Able to lift up to 40 lb boxes of product.
• Must be 18 years or older and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Able to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and take orders according to procedure.
• Explain menu items, answer clarifying questions and repeat orders for accuracy.
• Provide a warm experience in person and over the phone.
• Bake cookies to perfection and scoop ice cream.
• Package fast, warm, and correct delivery orders.
• Handle cash and payments accurately with no shortages.
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain the bakery.
