Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is opening a brand new Sarasota, FL location and is interviewing for Cookie Crew. You will greet guests, take orders, bake cookies, and ensure warm, on-time delivery of orders.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience in a customer service focused role.
• Personable, genuine, outgoing demeanor.
• Customer service oriented with a drive to exceed guest expectations.
• Strong communication, organizational and math skills.
• Able to lift up to 40 lb.
• Must be 18 years or older and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Available to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Promptly greet guests and take orders per store procedures.
• Explain menu items, answer questions, and confirm orders.
• Provide a warm, friendly experience in person and over the phone.
• Bake cookies to order and scoop ice cream.
• Package and deliver fast, warm, correct orders.
• Handle cash accurately and maintain proper counts.
• Maintain bakery cleanliness and sanitation.

Insomnia Cookies is one of the fastest growing, late-night, sweet indulgence companies in the country, and at the present time, we are actively interviewing Cookie Crew for our brand new Sarasota, FL location! This new store opening will be located at 2264 Gulf Gate Dr, Sarasota, FL 34231. As a member of the Cookie Crew, you are the ultimate Insomniac. Not only are you the point person at the front of the store for interacting with our customers, but you also get to bake all of our awesome warm and delicious cookies as well!

What else will I do as a member of the cookie crew?

• Promptly greet guests entering the store and take their orders according to procedure
• Help customers understand menu items, answer clarifying questions, and repeat orders for accuracy
• Give each customer a warm experience with a smile in person & over the phone
• Bake our delicious cookies to perfection & a scoop of ice cream
• Ensure fast, warm, and correct delivery orders are packaged and sent out
• Handle cash and payments accurately and have no shortages or overages
• Cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining the bakery

Desired skills & experience:

• At least 6 months of experience in a customer service focused role - preferred
