Job summary

Insomnia Cookies in Flagstaff, AZ is looking for a friendly and customer-oriented team member to join our Cookie Crew. This role involves greeting customers, taking orders, baking cookies, and ensuring a warm customer experience.

Qualifications

Job description

Overview

As a member of the Cookie Crew at our Flagstaff, AZ bakery, you are the point person at the front of the store for interacting with customers and you bake our warm and delicious cookies.

Responsibilities

• Promptly greet guests entering the store and take their orders according to procedure
• Help customers understand menu items, answer clarifying questions, and repeat orders for accuracy
• Give each customer a warm experience with a smile in person and over the phone
• Bake cookies to perfection and a scoop of ice cream
• Ensure fast, warm, and correct delivery orders are packaged and sent out
• Handle cash and payments accurately with no shortages or overages
• Cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining the bakery

Qualifications & Skills

• At least 6 months of experience in a customer service focused role (preferred)
• Personable, genuine, outgoing demeanor
• Customer service oriented with a willingness to exceed guest expectations
• Great communication, organizational and math skills
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lb
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
