Job summary

Insomnia Cookies in Downtown Cleveland (1224 W 6th St) is seeking a friendly team member to join the Cookie Crew. You will greet guests, take orders, and bake cookies in a fast-paced, welcoming setting.

As a front-of-store partner, you will provide a warm customer experience, assist with ice cream orders, and ensure precise cash handling and clean, safe preparation areas. Growth opportunities and a supportive team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience in a customer service focused role.
• Personable, genuine, outgoing demeanor.
• Customer service oriented and willing to exceed guest expectations.
• Great communication, organizational and math skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lb boxes of product.
• Must be 18 years or older to be employed.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Promptly greet guests entering the store and take their orders according to procedure.
• Help customers understand menu items, answer clarifying questions, and repeat orders for accuracy.
• Give each customer a warm experience with a smile in person and over the phone.
• Bake our delicious cookies to perfection and serve a scoop of ice cream.
• Ensure fast, warm, and correct delivery orders are packaged and sent out.
• Handle cash and payments accurately; maintain no shortages or overages.
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain the bakery.

As a member of the Cookie Crew at our Downtown 6th store located at 1224 W 6th St Cleveland, OH 44113, you are the ultimate Insomniac. You are the point person at the front of the store for interacting with our customers and you also bake all of our warm and delicious cookies.
