Job summary

Insomniacookies is seeking a part-time team member for their Ann Arbor store. As a member of the Cookie Crew, you'll greet customers, process orders, and prepare delicious cookies and ice cream.

Responsibilities include maintaining the bakery, handling cash transactions, and ensuring a warm customer experience. Candidates should have a customer service background, strong communication skills, and be able to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.

Role Overview

As a member of the Cookie Crew at our Ann Arbor store, you will greet guests, take and process orders, bake cookies, prepare delivery orders, handle cash transactions, and maintain the bakery. You are the front‑line team member interacting with customers in‑person and over the phone.

Responsibilities

• Promptly greet guests entering the store and take their orders according to procedure
• Help customers understand menu items, answer clarifying questions, and repeat orders for accuracy
• Give each customer a warm experience with a smile in person & over the phone
• Bake our delicious cookies to perfection and prepare a scoop of ice cream
• Ensure fast, warm, and correct delivery orders are packaged and sent out
• Handle cash and payments accurately and have no shortages or overages
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain the bakery
