Cook – Aurora Behavioral Health Care

As a Cook for Aurora Behavioral Health Care you will participate in the provision of quality meals and nutritional services to patients, staff, and guests.

Pay Range

• Base pay: $43,680.00 - $52,000.00 per year
• Hourly pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Work Schedule

Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

11878 Avenue of Industry, San Diego, CA 92128

Responsibilities

• Prepares meals for patients, employees, medical staff, and visitors
• Preps ingredients for meals and catering events
• Cleans work area as necessary or assigned
• Accepts and reconciles deliveries and puts away stock
• Participates in activities which enhance professional growth and development
• Complies with facility safety, infection control, and security program

Skills

• Ability to concentrate on work amid distractions such as noise, conversations, and foot traffic
• Consistently meet deadlines and finish all food preparation at specified serving time
• Flexibility in work hours to meet patient and organization operating needs
• Maintain self‑control in volatile or hostile customer service interactions
