Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring a full-time Cook at Cafe Carnival in Doral, FL. The shift runs Monday through Thursday from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, with online applications accepted. Prior bulk prep experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous bulk prep experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting standards, and ensuring proper temperatures and appetizing presentation.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety by following HACCP standards and safe food-handling procedures.
• Assists in production planning, records keeping and reporting as required.
• Assists in ordering and receiving of all food and supplies; reports maintenance or equipment issues to supervisor.
• Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers.
