Job summary

The Corner Store at The Cosmopolitan is seeking a Cook to join MGM Resorts International on a part-time, on-site basis in Las Vegas, NV. You will work with a culinary team to deliver high-quality dishes, maintain food safety standards, and support service during peak hours.

Ideal candidates will have 1+ year of cook experience, 2+ years in high-volume settings, and a passion for consistent, precise cooking.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 1+ year of experience as a Cook in a professional kitchen preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a high-volume restaurant, resort, or similar hospitality setting preferred.
• Passion for delivering high-quality food with consistency, precision, and attention to detail.
• Flexible and available to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain solid knowledge of food products and skillfully apply culinary techniques.
• Identify and safely use kitchen equipment.
• Restock kitchen supplies and food items required for service.
• Properly label and date products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation.
• Maintain solid menu knowledge and attention to detail with plate presentation.
• Assist kitchen leadership and staff in execution of service.
