Job description

We are hiring immediately for a temporary COOK position.

Location: Moderna Cambridge - 325 Binney Street, Cambridge, MA 02142. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Temporary; Monday through Thursday. Hours may vary. More details upon interview.

Requirement: Prior culinary experience is preferred.

Pay Range: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food according to standards and regulations, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare high-quality food items using standardized recipes.
• Serve meals or prepare for delivery, ensuring correct portions, temperature, and presentation.
• Use established procedures during service; maintain records.
• Maintain cleanliness and safe food-handling practices.
• Store food and supplies properly; operate kitchen equipment.
• Assist in planning, ordering, and reporting.
• Report maintenance issues promptly.
• Attend safety and training meetings.
• Foster good relationships with colleagues and customers.
• Follow all safety policies and standards, including HACCP.
