The Food Services Director will oversee duties to ensure quality food service at all times, with an emphasis on safety, accuracy, and resident satisfaction. This role offers reliable hours and work-life balance within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Culinary Arts training preferred.
• 2 years of dietary experience required.
• Knowledge of dietary procedures, laws, and guidelines for food service.
• Leadership ability to supervise staff.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Primarily a standing position.

Responsibilities

• Assures all dietary procedures are followed.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively (meat slicer, food processor, mixers, ovens, grills, steamers, dishwasher, dumb waiter, warmer cabinets).
• Assists in establishing food production line to ensure meals prepared on time.
• Represents the community with a positive attitude and pride when interacting with potential residents and families.
• Prepares and serves nutritious meals with high-quality presentation and flavor.
